Please read these terms carefully before using CareDirect. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
CareDirect is operated in India and provides a technology platform that connects patients with independently registered healthcare professionals for home medical visits. CareDirect is not a healthcare provider and does not employ, supervise, or control the clinical judgment of any medical professional listed on the platform.
By using CareDirect, you confirm that:
Patients agree to provide accurate health and personal information, be available at the designated address at the scheduled time, treat healthcare professionals with courtesy, make timely payments, and follow the cancellation policy.
Healthcare professionals agree to maintain valid professional registration and licensing as required by applicable Indian law, complete identity verification, provide services in a professional and ethical manner, honour confirmed appointments, and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
All payments on CareDirect are processed securely through Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. CareDirect charges a platform service fee in addition to the healthcare professional's consultation fee, which is displayed before booking confirmation.
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In general, refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made relative to the scheduled appointment time. Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
CareDirect is a technology platform that facilitates connections between patients and independent healthcare professionals. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions, including diagnosis and prescription, are made solely by the attending healthcare professional in their independent professional capacity and judgment. CareDirect bears no liability whatsoever for any medical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment administered by healthcare professionals listed on the platform. All such professionals are independently verified and hold valid registrations entitling them to practise in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Government of India. In case of a medical emergency, please call emergency services immediately.
CareDirect acts solely as an intermediary platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Your use of CareDirect is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). By using the platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.
You agree not to:
CareDirect reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its discretion if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India.
CareDirect may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
